Box Score OSWEGO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team traveled to Oswego on Wednesday afternoon and pulled out a dominant 9-0 victory over the Lakers for their second-straight SUNYAC victory.
The Knights kicked off the match with a sweep of the doubles action, highlighted by senior
Kylie Seiler and junior
Alex Galle winning at first doubles 8-0, and sophomores
Julia Paolino and
Katie Kujawa earning an 8-2 victory at second doubles.
In singles action, both Galle and Seiler only dropped one game at first and second singles, respectively. Paolino went on to win 6-2 6-3 at third singles, while Kujawa took home the win with a score of 6-2 6-2.
Meghan Heeney and
Alexandra Suslan competed at fifth and sixth singles, respectively, and cruised to a pair of victories with only six games lost between the two of them.
Geneseo is now 2-0 in SUNYAC action, and will head to ITA Regionals this weekend before closing out the conference schedule with five-straight SUNYAC matchups.
