ROCHESTER, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo first-year
Sierra Doody took first overall as the Knights swept the top seven spots for a first-place team finish at the Terry Rodenbeck Invitational on Friday night.
Doody crossed the finish line in 15:02.1 to take first in her collegiate debut.
Lilly Fowler-Conner placed second with a 15:22.9 finish while
Ava Voss finished third in 15:36.2.
Gabby McCarthy,
Katherine Vogel,
Marie Naudus and
Katie Grossman rounded out the Knights top seven, as the squad scored a perfect 15 points for a first-place finish.
The Knights will race again on Friday, Sept. 16 when they travel to East Lansing, Mich. to compete in the Spartan Invitational hosted by Michigan State University. The meet will be held at Forest Akers East Golf Course, the site of the 2022 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships later this season.
