ROCHESTER, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior Erin Eivers led the Knights with a 16th overall finish as the squad placed fourth at the Yellowjacket Invitational hosted by Rochester on Saturday morning. 

Eivers crossed 16th overall with a finishing time of 23:44.5 in the 6k race. Raechel Zielinski placed 20th overall as the second Knight across the line with a time of 23:48.0. Veronica Szygalowicz, Penelope Green and Ann Brennan rounded out the Knights' top five, each placing within the top-50 finishers while Lejla Borcilo and Isabel Marzec crossed in under 25:00 as well. 

The Knights finished fourth overall behind NYU (1st, 46), Ohio Northern (98) and Trine (116), defeating Rochester, Ithaca, Hamilton and St. John Fisher, among others. 

Geneseo will race again on Saturday, Sept. 24 when they compete at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan.
