GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team remained unbeaten in SUNYAC play this weekend by shutting out Oswego 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Knights got off to a hot start in the doubles action, winning all three matches and only dropping six total games. Senior Natalia Krol and sophomore Rory Tobin kicked things off by winning at first doubles 8-1. Seniors Julianna Schulz and Grace Klomp earned an 8-2 win at second doubles, while Julia Paolino and Abigail Rockwood won 8-3 at third. Geneseo continued their dominance in singles action, with Tobin and Rockwood earning wins while only dropping one game each to seal the five points needed to win. The Knights closed out the four remaining singles matches with ease as they cruised to the 9-0 victory.
Geneseo will return to the court this Friday at Cortland.
