BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team had its season come to an end on Friday afternoon as they fell in the SUNYAC semifinals to Oneonta, 5-0.
The Knights put up a fight in doubles action as they looked to steal two of the three matches. Natalia Krol and Rory Tobin fell 8-6 at first doubles, while Julianna Schulz and Grace Klomp dropped an 8-4 decision at third and Alex Galle and Kylie Seiler lost 8-2 at second. In singles action, Krol and Rockwood fell at first and sixth singles for Oneonta to win 5-0. Schulz took the first set at third singles 6-1 and Tobin was locked in a close match at fourth singles 6-5.
Geneseo finished the season 9-8 overall and 5-2 in SUNYAC play to finish third in the conference.
