GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's swimming and diving team picked up a 168-123 victory over Nazareth in their home opener on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Knights have improved to 2-0 on the season.

Lauren Sposili,
Alise Hale, and
Rian Dickman teamed up to win the 400-yard medley relay to kick off the meet. The Knights posted a time of 4:04.53, while Geneseo also finished second in the race behind
Grace O'Neill,
Mackenzie Fischer,
Abby Funk, and
Emily McCord. The Knights kept the momentum going by winning the next three swimming events.
Hannah Brockman placed first in the 1000 yard freestyle, Sposili barely out touched teammate Funk in the 200 yard freestyle, and O'Neill beat out Marcyan in the 100 yard backstroke.
Geneseo continued its dominance in the meet, tallying first place points in six other swim events as well as the three-meter dive.
Jenna MacLeod earned the top finish in the three-meter dive for the Knights with a score of 262.95.
Geneseo will return to Alumni Pool on October 29 for a meet against Canisius at 12 p.m. The meet also marks the Geneseo Sports Hall of Fame Celebration for the Knights.
