PITTSFORD, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior Grace Klomp was one of three double-winners as the Knights rolled past the host St. John Fisher Cardinals, 7-2, on Friday evening at the Mendon Tennis Center.
Klomp teamed with senior Julianna Schulz to earn an 8-3 victory at second doubles and added a 6-0, 6-0 win at fifth singles. Schulz also earned a victory at third singles, defeating her opponent, 6-2, 6-0. Senior Natalia Krol and junior Kylie Seiler nabbed a third doubles victory while Seiler added a 6-1, 6-1 win at sixth singles. Sophomore Rory Tobin and junior Alex Galle each earned straight-set singles victories at fourth singles and second singles, respectively, to complete the Geneseo win.
The Knights (2-0) will return to the court on Saturday, Sept. 25, taking part in the St. Lawrence Classic in Canton, N.Y.
