PITTSFORD, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo seniors Grace Klomp and Julianna Schulz were each double-winners as the Knights earned a 7-2 victory over Nazareth in the season-opener on Wednesday afternoon. 

Klomp and Schulz teamed at second doubles to earn an 8-3 victory before Schulz won 7-6, 6-0 at third singles and Klomp earned a 6-3, 6-2 victory at the fifth flight. Senior Natalia Krol and junior Kylie Seiler earned a third doubles victory, teaming for an 8-2 win. Alex Galle, Rory Tobin and Abigail Rockwood earned victories at the second, fourth and sixth singles flights, respectively, as Geneseo took five of the six singles matches to wrap up the win. 

Geneseo (1-0) will compete in the William Hosking Invitational, hosted by William Smith, on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 4-5.
