BUFFALO, N.Y. – The SUNY Geneseo men's swimming and diving team went on the road Saturday afternoon and defeated Division I opponent Canisius College 180-120.
Junior Jack Cimorelli paced the Knights with four first-place finishes in the meet. In individual events, he won the 100-yard breaststroke, the 200-yard breaststroke, and the 200-yard IM. He was also apart of the 200-yard medley relay team, that opened up the meet with a time of 1:34.14.
The Knights won seven races, while also taking home the top-four spots in both diving events. Geneseo is now 2-0 on the season, with their other win coming against Nazareth at home two weeks ago. They will look to keep that undefeated mark next weekend when they travel to a tri-meet with Grove City and Fredonia at Fredonia.
