Women's Tennis Wins Sixth-Straight Dual Match, 8-1, at St. John Fisher

PITTSFORD, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team swept doubles play to stay perfect in dual match doubles on the year and earn an 8-1 win over St. John Fisher on Friday afternoon.

Senior Sam Montague and junior Dana Sorrentino earned an 8-3 victory at first doubles while sophomores Julianna Schulz and Natalia Krol took an 8-3 victory at the second flight and sophomores Grace Klomp and Sophia Alkhouri Stuart teamed at third doubles to take an 8-2 victory. 

In singles play, Montague, Krol, Sorrentino, Klomp and Alkhouri Stuart each won in straight sets as the Knights rolled to their sixth-straight dual match victory.

Geneseo (6-0) will return to action on Friday, Oct. 4 when they travel to the Binghamton Tennis Center to face New Paltz in the first of three conference matches over the weekend.
