Women's Swimming & Diving Defeats Cortland, 178-105

GENESEO, N.Y - SUNY Geneseo first-year Willow Swan-Scott earned a pair of individual event wins as the Knights topped visiting Cortland, 178-105, on Friday at Alumni Pool.

Swan-Scott finished first in the 100 back with a time of 1:02.92 and added a first-place finish in the 200 back with a time of 2:13.97. Junior Paige Turcotte took first in the 200 fly with a time of 2:14.65 and added a first-place finish in the 200 breast as well (2:29.21). First-year Lauren Sposili won the 100 breast (1:07.65) and the 500 Free (5:23.49) and teamed with sophomore Megan Palmer, and juniors Olivia Hilt and Maddie Knight to earn first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:51.32. Junior Alyssa Vadala placed first off the one-meter board with a 277.95 while senior Samantha Reichman earned the top finish off the three-meter board, scoring 295.55.

Geneseo improves to 4-0 in dual meets and will compete at the Bomber Invitational, hosted by Ithaca, beginning on Friday, Dec. 6.
