Women's Tennis Falls To Oneonta, Takes Three Seed In SUNYAC Tournament

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team fell, 7-2, to State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) rival Oneonta on Sunday in the final match of the regular season. The Knights finish the regular season with a 7-2 mark and a 5-2 conference record to earn the third seed in the SUNYAC Tournament where they will face Oneonta again on Friday, Oct. 11.

Sophomore Natalia Krol earned the Knights a point at third singles, taking a three-set victory, 6-4, 5-7, 10-8. Sophomore Sophia Alkhouri Stuart grabbed Geneseo's other point with a straight-set win at sixth singles.

The Knights fell to Oneonta, 5-1, in the SUNYAC semifinal round a year ago.
