Women's Swimming & Diving Stays Unbeaten with 199-94 Victory Over Nazareth

GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior Nancy Nasky earned victories in the 200, 500 and 1000 free to pace the Knights as they remained unbeaten with a 199-94 victory over Nazareth, Saturday at Alumni Pool.

Nasky finished the 200 free in 2:00.02. touched up in the 1000 free in 10:41.39, and placed first in the 500 free with a 5:08.67 finish. Senior Sydney Ng won both the 100 back (1:00.38) and 200 back (2:07.06) while junior Samantha Reichman took first in both diving events. Sophomore Celeste Pace finished first in the 100 breast with a time of 1:09.35, while first-year Megan Palmer finished the 200 fly in 2:14.66 for a first-place finish. Sophomore Paige Turcotte won the 200 breast in 2:32.61 while sophomore Olivia Hilt took first in the 100 fly with a time of 1:01.42. Palmer and Pace teamed with sophomores Noelle Staso and Maddie Knight to take first in the 200 medley relay, finishing in 1:50.18.

The Knights improve to 5-0 in dual meets this season and will return to the water on Nov. 30 when they travel to Ithaca to compete in the Ithaca Winter Invitational.
