ORLANDO, FLA. - SUNY Geneseo junior Nancy Nasky earned a pair of first-place finishes as the Knights held off Albion College for a 116-83 dual-meet victory at the Orlando YMCA on Saturday evening.
Nasky was one of five different Knights to earn at least one first-place finish as Geneseo earned wins in seven events. She took first in the 1000 free with a time of 10:49.04, and won the 500 free with a finishing time of 5:23.40. First-year Lauren Siegel also won two events, taking first in the 200 IM (2:16.93) and the 100 fly (1:01.01). Junior Sydney Ng took first in the 200 free with a time of 2:00.46, while first-year Noelle Staso grabbed a win in the 100 free (55.36) and senior Natalie LaCourt took first in the 100 back (1:01.18).
Geneseo improves to 5-1 in dual meets this season and will finish their training trip in Florida before returning to competition on Saturday, Jan. 20 in a dual meet hosted by Case Western Reserve.
