ROCHESTER, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior Maggie Hale was a double-winner in the final regular season match of her career as the Knights earned a 7-2 win over Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) on Friday evening.
Hale teamed with junior Lauren Salzano at first singles to earn an 8-4 win and went on to take fourth singles in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1. Junior Rachel Ollis along with sophomores Vanessa Lam-Tran and Nina Lurie were doubles-winners on the day as well.
Geneseo earned an automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Tournament with their SUNYAC Championship in the fall and will await their selection for a first round match.
