ELSAH, Ill. – SUNY Geneseo senior Kristen Homeyer finished an All-American 32nd out of 279 runners to lead the Knights to sixth place at the NCAA Division III Championships, Saturday, at Principia's North Farm Course.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Homeyer crossed the 6-kilometer finish line with a time of 21:30.50. It was her fourth-straight appearance in the NCAA Championship race.
- Junior Elise Ramirez was the Knights' second finisher, crossing 46th with a time of 21:42.90.
- Junior Allison Fernandez finished 104th (22:14.30), followed by sophomores Dana Cebulski (22:19.10) in 114th and Genny Corcoran (22:24.90) in 127th to close the Knights' top-five.
