CORTLAND, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior diver Samuel Randall swept the one-meter and three-meter dive as the Knights earned victories in 14 of the 16 events on their way to a victory over State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) opponent Cortland, 216-84, on Saturday afternoon. 

Randall took first in the one-meter with a score of 316.45 and won the three-meter dive with a final score of 304.75, sweeping the diving events. Senior Jeff Doser teamed with seniors Scott Guyton and Jacob Cole and sophomore Kaz Sampson to finish first in the 200 medley relay (1:37.67) while teaming with junior Matthew Modelewski and first-years Will Eng and Harry Harkins to take first in the 400 freestyle relay, finishing in 3:13.59. Doser also earned wins in the 50 freestyle (21.89) and the 500 freestyle (5:00.71). 

Sophomore John Wilson took first in the 200 free with a time of 1:49.89 while Matt Mattera and Joe La Bianca finished second and third, respectively as the Knights swept the event. Geneseo also swept the top three finishes in the 100 back as Matthew Modelewski (56.29), Cole, and Eng finished with top time, and the 200 back, with junior Clark Davis (2:01.50), sophomore Mitchell Phelps and Cole sweeping the podium. 

Geneseo improves to 2-2 in dual meets on the season and will return to action on Nov. 18 when they travel to Ithaca, facing Hartwick and the Bombers in a tri-meet.
