ORLANDO, FLA.– The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team fell to ASA College by a score of 9-0 Wednesday. The Knights fall to 12-2 on the season and close out their Florida trip with one win in three matches.

ASA College won National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I championships in both 2014 and 2015 and are currently ranked No. 1 in 2016. In last season's championship tournament, the team became the first NJCAA squad to sweep all six singles and all three doubles championships since 1991. 

The Knights return north to play four matches in April in preparation for their appearance in the NCAA Division III Championships in May. Senior Marylen Santos will continue her bid to break the Geneseo career singles wins record. She is currently tied with Anna Lehit '10 with 63 victories.

Geneseo's next match will be home on Thursday April 7 at 3:30 against RIT.
