Men's Swimming & Diving Sweeps Ithaca And Hartwick

ITHACA, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior Kevin Schaub won three individual events and swam on a winning relay while junior Jeff Doser logged two individual wins and a winning relay leg to lead the Knights to a tri-meet sweep at Ithaca, Sunday. The Knights defeated the host Bombers, 213-81, while also defeating Hartwick, 207-92.

Schaub was victorious in the 200 butterfly (1:56.46), 200 backstroke (1:55.17) and the 200 IM (1:59.60) after starting the day with the lead-off leg of the winning 200 medley relay (1:34.96).

Doser posted the 17th-fastest time nationally in winning the 200 freestyle (1:42.75) while also taking first in the 100 free (47.30) and anchoring the winning 200 free relay (1:26.40).

Next up for the Knights (4-1) will be a return to Ithaca Dec. 2-4 for the Ithaca Invitational.
