GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo moved into sole possession of first place in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women's tennis standings with a 7-2 victory over New Paltz, Friday night. Marylen Santos won number-one singles and teamed with Amanda Rosati to win number-one doubles. Rosati also won at number-three singles. Geneseo stands with no losses yet for the 2013-14 season.
Originally scheduled to be played at Geneseo, the match was moved to the Mendon Racquet and Pool Club in nearby Pittsford due to wet conditions.
The Knights return to action this Wednesday Sept.18 at their home court against Fredonia.
