BROCKPORT, N.Y—SUNY Geneseo sophomore Marylen Santos won at number-one singles and teamed with junior Amanda Rosati to earn the victory at number one doubles leading the Knights to a 9-0 shutout of Brockport, Tuesday, in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women's tennis action.
Junior Dexuan Yuan also took a winning spot at number-two singles as well as number-two doubles, pairing with twin sister Minxuan Yuan. First-years Karli Hollins and Maggie Hale also teamed up to win third doubles, before splitting up to take victories at fourth and fifth singles.
Geneseo will be home for four consecutive dates opposite SUNYAC competition, hosting New Paltz on Friday at 3:30 p.m., before also welcoming Oneonta (Sept. 14), Fredonia (Sept. 18) and Cortland (Sept. 20) to the Beautiful Valley.
