OSWEGO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo sophomore Mare Santos (Jamaica, N.Y./St. Francis Prep) won at number-one singles and teamed with junior Amanda Rosati (Albany, N.Y./Academy of the Holy Names) to earn the victory at number-one doubles to lead the Knights to a 9-0 shutout of Oswego, Friday, in the opener for both squads.

"This was a great way to start the season for us," said head coach Jim Chen. "Positive outcomes like this help us get the season rolling in the right direction and build our confidence for the rest of the season."
