Corcoran Finishes As National Runner-Up To Lead Knights To 10th at NCAA Championships

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – SUNY Geneseo senior Genny Corcoran finished as National Runner-Up, just eight seconds behind the winner, to lead the Knights to a 10th-place finish at the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships, Saturday, at Tom Sawyer State Park in Lousivlle, Ky.


  • Corcoran traversed the six-kilometer course in 21:11.8 to finish in second place and earn her second-consecutive All-American honor after finishing 20th overall a season ago.
  • First-year Windsor Ardner placed 89th with a time of 22:48.4 while juniors Melissa Graham (23:01.9) and Mariellen Penzer (23:03.5) finished in 127th and 131st, respectively.
  • Senior Annibell Coolican capped her collegiate cross country career with a 167th place finish, crossing the line in 23:19.2 to round out the Knights' top five.
  • First-year Ciara Knott placed 199th (23:32.8) and senior Cassidy McGinn finished in 247th (24:18.8).
