WORCESTER, Mass. – SUNY Geneseo senior setter Emily Ast logged 47 assists and 15 digs while junior outside hitter Grace Cergol tallied 20 kills and 11 digs to lead the Knights to a 3-1 (25-15, 19-25, 25-13, 25-17) victory at Clark (Mass.), Friday night.

- Tonight was the first time Geneseo had ever played Clark in the 48-year history of the program.
- Cergol notched her 1,068th dig to surpass Megan Wailand '07 for ninth on the Knights' career dig list. She is also 14 kills shy of becoming the fifth player in program history with 1,200 kills.
- Ast's 47 assists were a four-match career-high, eclipsing the 46 she totaled in a 3-1 loss to John Carroll to open the 2016 season as well as in a 3-1 loss to Oneonta in 2015.
Geneseo plays a tri-match at Wellesley (Mass.) on Saturday, taking on the host Blue at 9:00 a.m. before facing Plymouth State (N.H.) at 11:00 a.m.
