Women's Track & Field Competes At Bucknell, Westminster Invitationals

LEWISBURG, Pa./WILMINGTON, Pa. - The SUNY Geneseo women's track & field team sent competitors to the Bucknell Invitational and the Westminster Invitational on Saturday.

  • At Bucknell, senior Kristen Homeyer finished 10th (16:58.83) and Elise Ramirez (17:06.00) finished 15th in the invitational section of the 5,000 in a field that included Division I, II, III and open competitors. 
  • At Westminster, senior Camille Wutz placed second in the long jump (5.58m/18' 3.75") and added a leg to the runner-up 4x100 relay (47.58).
  • Sophomore Alexa LaPierre finished runner-up in the high jump (1.60m/5' 3") while sophomre Jennifer Joseph was second in the triple jump (10.61m).

Geneseo will compete at the Cortland Invitational next Friday and Saturday (Apr. 20-21).
