GENESEO, N.Y. - Three SUNY Geneseo women's soccer student-athletes were recognized by the United Soccer Coaches with All-Region selections. Sophomore forward Hannah Sullivan was named First Team All-Region while senior back Taylor Clar and senior midfielder Grace Dunnigan each garnered Second Team All-Region honors.
Sullivan led the team with 27 points on nine goals and a team-high nine assists. She posted two six-point games, scoring twice and dishing out two assists in a 5-0 win against Farmingdale (Sept. 21) and repeated the feat in a 5-0 victory at Potsdam (Oct. 5). A two-time All-SUNYAC selection, she was chosen to the second team in 2018 and was named first team this season.
Clar was named All-Region for the fourth-consecutive season, joining Jackie Fertitta '06 as just the second player in program history to earn all-region selections in each of her four seasons. The 2019 SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Year, Clar led a defensive backfield that allowed just 15 goals in 20 games and posted 10 shutouts this season. She also added a career-high three goals, including a pair of game-winning tallies, and one assist.
Dunnigan started all 19 games for the Knights in the midfield, scoring a career-high three goals and recording one assist. A first-team All-SUNYAC selection, she grabs her first all-region honor.
