GENESEO, N.Y. -SUNY Geneseo senior Clark Davis was named State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Swimmer of the Year while first-year Corey Wirth was named SUNYAC Diver of the Year and first-year Sean McClellan was honored as SUNYAC Rookie of the Year to lead 15 Knights that garnered All-Conference awards.
Davis swam to first place in the 200 IM, 400 IM and the 200 Breast on his way to earning SUNYAC Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet, helping the Knights to their sixth-consecutive conference title. Wirth earned SUNYAC Diver of the Year after finishing first in the one-meter and second in the three-meter at the SUNYAC Championships. He proceeded to qualify for NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, competing on the national stage for the first-time in his career, the Knights' first first-year to do so since Samuel Randall '08. McClellan earned Rookie of the Year honors after finishing first in the 500 free and swimming a leg of the Knights' first-place 800 free relay at the SUNYAC Championships.
Joining McClellan, Wirth and Davis as All-SUNYAC First Team honorees are sophomores Will Eng and Harry Harkins, juniors Mitchell Phelps, Kaz Sampsonand John Wilson and seniors Matthew Modelewski and Joseph Ruggiero. Junior Matt Mattera and first-year Matthew Triaszin were named second team all-conference while junior Kyle Barry and first-years Ben Wilcox and James Wun seach earned third team honors.
