– SUNY Geneseo senior defenseman Jack Crowley was named an Honorable Mention All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), announced Thursday. Crowley is the the Knights' first USILA All-American since 2012.

Crowley became the fourth four-time all-conference player in the 50-year history of the program earlier this month, landing his second-consecutive State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) First-Team honor after back-to-back second-team selections in 2016 and 2017. One of the region's top defensive players, he tied for seventh in the SUNYAC with 19 caused turnovers and while finishing 13th with 44 ground balls.

Geneseo (8-10) qualified for its 13th SUNYAC Tournament in the last 17 years, including its second in the last three seasons. The third-seeded Knights upset second-seeded Plattsburgh, 11-10, on the road in the semifinals to move on to the 10th conference championship game in program history and first since 2012. Geneseo fell at top-seeded Cortland, 13-9, to close the season.
