Personal: Cassandra "Cassie" Lynn Ingalls was born and raised in Belmont, N.Y. ...  parents are Dean and Shelly Ingalls ... has two siblings, Gretchen and Matthew ... two of her aunts, Ann Ingalls and Kelly Ingalls, graduated from Geneseo in 1986 ... majors in childhood and special education ... showed her pony on her own Walk-Trot when she was four and continued riding ever since ... began showing her first full-size horse when she was six ... favorite professional sports team is the U.S. Olympic Dressage team and favorite professional athlete is Courtney King  ... although she has been riding her entire life, she had never been over a jump until riding on the Geneseo Equestrian Team ... best advice received during her career was to "In the end all that matters is that you had fun, the ribbon is just a bonus" ... counts her favorite athletic moment with the team as winning the home show against High Point and as an individual athlete her favorite moment was winning reserve national champion and several national top tens with her own horses ... lists her mom as having the most influence on her riding career because she has a huge amount of knowledge and talent and is "more dedicated to the horses than anyone I have ever seen, which pays off through her success in the show ring."
