Women's Cross Country Takes First at Highlander Invitational

HOUGHTON, N.Y.  - SUNY Geneseo sophomore Carissa DiTullio finished second out of 106 runners to lead the Knights to first place out of 12 teams at the Highlander Invitational, hosted by Houghton, Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • DiTullio finished the 6-kilometer race second with a time of 24.48.4.
  • Senior Clare McNerney was Geneseo's second finisher crossing the finish line third place with a time of 25.06.1.
  • The Knights finished with an additional four runners in the top 20 for a winning score of 38.
