GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior Erin MacDougall was named State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Track Athlete of the Week after her performance at the Houghton Invitational on Friday.
MacDougall took first in the 60-meter hurdles, crossing with a time of 9.13 in the finals. She also posted a 9.11 preliminary finish, just .05 seconds slower than her personal best (9.06). Her finish currently ranks sixth in NCAA Division III.
The award marks the second Geneseo Women's Track and Field athlete honored by the conference in two weeks, with junior Shayna Held earning Field Athlete honors last week.
MacDougall and the Knights will return to action after the holiday break when they travel to Rochester for the RIT Invitational on January 13.
