BOSTON, Mass. - Several student-athletes represented SUNY Geneseo Women's Track & Field at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University on Friday afternoon, breaking three program records on the day.
Three program records were shattered on the day by three different athletes. In the 60m dash, junior Camille Wutz broke her own record with a time of 7.93 to finish 21st overall. In the 400m run, junior Lauren Bamford posted a finishing time of 58.41 to break the Geneseo program record. In the field, senior Alexa Wandy put up a record-breaking triple jump, finishing with a mark of 12.25m. In the 4x400m, Wandy, Bamford and Wutz teamed with Mackenzie Ross to break the program record with a finishing time of 3:55.10.
The Valentine Invitational will continue on Saturday with events scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
