LEWISTON, Pa. - The SUNY Geneseo women's track & field team competed at the 19th-Annual Bison Open, hosted by Bucknell, on Saturday.
Sophomore Elise Ramirez won the 5,000 with a time of 17:41.44 that is the fastest time in the SUNYAC this season.
Junior Lauren Bamford placed second in the 400 (59.15), posting the fastest time in the SUNYAC this season.
Senior Sara Rosenzweig placed fourth in the 3,000 (10:14.96) with the top time in the SUNYAC this year.
The team will be back in action next Friday (Feb. 3) in a meet hosted at RIT.

Sophomore Shayna Held won the 60-meter hurdles at the Brockport Multi & Invitational on Saturday. Her time (9.40) was the third-fastest in program history.
