Women's Tennis Falls to Middlebury, 5-0, in NCAA Tournament Second Round

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team fell to host Middlebury, 5-0, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday afternoon.

The Knights dropped all three doubles flights, and fell at fourth and fifth singles as the Panthers earned the victory and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.

Geneseo finishes the season with an 11-10 record, including a run to its seventh-consecutive State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship.

The Knights graduate seniors Lauren Salzano, Anika Pornpitaksuk and Rachel Ollis, who helped Geneseo to conference titles, NCAA Tournament berths and NCAA Tournament first round victories in each of their four years.
