GAMBIER, Ohio - The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team traveled to Ohio on Saturday where they dropped a pair of matches to No. 22 Kenyon, 9-0, and Ohio Wesleyan, 7-2.
Against Kenyon, the Knights were swept in doubles play but battled in the singles flights. Junior Vanessa Lam-Tran won a team-high four games at second singles, but fell, 6-1, 6-3.
Against Ohio Wesleyan, junior Nina Lurie was a double-winner, teaming with senior Lauren Salzano at second doubles for an 8-0 win and taking a three-set victory at fourth singles with a 7-5, 5-7, 10-3, super-breaker win.
Geneseo moves to 9-5 on the season and will travel to TCNJ on Friday, April 6 for a matchup with the Lions.
