PITTSFORD, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo dropped a 1-0 decision at Nazareth, Thursday, for its first loss of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Nazareth's Caleigh Cahoon headed home what proved to be the lone goal of the game on a corner kick in the 19th minute of the first half.
QUICK FACTS
- Geneseo out-shot the Golden Flyers, 14-4.
- Senior goalie Emily Janiszewski made two saves for the Knights in the loss.
- Geneseo hadn't allowed a goal this season, shutting out New England College, 2-0 (Aug. 31), and Utica , 4-0 (Sept. 1), last week to open the campaign.
