Cregan Named SUNYAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player Of The Week

GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior midfielder Erin Cregan was named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, Monday.

Cregan played a large role in the Knights' 12-9 upset of No. 5 William Smith to open the 2018 campaign last Wednesday. Notching two goals, she also was credited with three draw controls, two caused turnovers and two ground balls as the Knights erased a 4-2 halftime deficit to earn the victory.

Cregan and the Knights are back in action with a trip to St. Lawrence on Wednesday for a 3:00 p.m. start before returning home on Thursday to make up last week's snow-postponed match with Rochester at 4:00 p.m.
