No. 11 Geneseo Takes Down Western Conn., 18-6

ORLANDO, Fla. - SUNY Geneseo senior attack Caroline Buonocore scored a team-high six goals to become the all-time leading scorer in Knights history and lead the squad to a 18-6 victory over Western Connecticut, Sunday, in a game played at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla.

Buonocore entered the game tied with Lauren Chatterton '05 with 222 points, needing just one point to to become the top scorer in the 19-year history of the program.

Senior midfielder Emily Haggerty added two goals and two assists, while sophomore midfielder Tara Basile was credited with three goals in the Geneseo (4-0) victory.

Junior goalie Laura Passamonte was credited with eight saves to improve to 4-0 this season.

The Knights return to action on Tuesday, taking on Springfield (Mass.) at 11:00 a.m. in Orlando.
