Men's Cross Country Notches First Place Finish at 38th-Annual Mike Woods Invitational

MOUNT MORRIS, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior Sean McAneny finished second among over 300 competitors to lead the Knights to a first-place finish in the 38th-Annual Mike Woods Invitational on Saturday at Letchworth State Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • McAneny crossed in second place behind Laurentian University's Paul Sagriff, finishing in 25:15.3.
  • Junior Jack Tate followed closely behind, finishing fourth in 25:32.1.
  • First-year Cameron Davis finished seventh in 25:58.8 just in front of senior Luke Holtzman, who finished eighth in 26:03.9.
  • Sophomore Bradley Farnham finished 11th in 26:08.0 while sophomore Matt Sayre and senior John Ripa both crossed in the top 15 as well.
