Cross Country Teams Sweep Titles At Brockport Invitational

BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The SUNY Geneseo men's and women's cross country teams swept a pair of first-place finishes to open the season at the Brockport Invitational, Friday. 

First-year Chole Weaver won the women's race clocking a 14:49.2 finish over the 4,000-meter course.

Sophomore Annibell Coolican finished second (14:58.3), followed by first-year Carissa DiTullio in third (14:58.9). 

First-year Eileen Reinhardt placed sixth (15:18.1) edging sophomore teammate Dana Cebulski in seventh (15:18.7) to close out the Knights' top-five.

For the men, sophomore Lucus Sutton was the Knights' top finisher, covering the 6,000-meter course with a time of 18:59.9 to finish second.

First-year Brendan Murphy finished third (19:22.9) before classmate Matthew Sayre placed sixth (19:31.3).

Sophomore Jake Miller logged an eighth-place effort (19:32.5) before first-year Matt Blauvelt crossed ninth (19:33.2) to complete Geneseo's scoring seven.
