Fourteen Track & Field Student-Athletes Named USTFCCCA All-Academic

2018 USTFCCCA ALL-ACADEMIC HONORS

GENESEO, N.Y. – Fourteen members of the SUNY Geneseo track & field program were named All-Academic honorees by the U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), while both the men's and women's teams were named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, announced Thursday. 

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and either have competed at the NCAA Division III Indoor or Outdoor Championships, or finished the regular season ranked in the top-50 nationally in an individual event. Members of relays ranked in the top 35 also qualified. A total of 627 women and 408 men were recognized. 

 In order to be in contention for Scholar Team of the Year, a program must "finish highly at the respective national championship meet" and have at least a 3.00 cumulative team GPA.
