Men's Track & Field Takes On Princeton, Cortland

PRINCETON, N.J./CORTLAND, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo men's track & field team competed at the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton as well as the Cortland Classic Invitational, Saturday and Sunday.

On Friday, junior Isaac Garcia-Cassani finished sixth in the 5,000 (14:16.80) in a field comprised of Division I, II, III and open competitors with a SUNYAC record and the third-fastest time in Division III this year. 

Saturday's highlights at Cortland included sophomore Gillan Faulkner finishing first in the 800 (1:54.95). On Sunday, first-year Jacob Converse finished third in the decathlon, totaling a program-record 5,666 points.
