Men's Track & Field Competes At Cardinal Classic

PITTSFORD, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo junior John Panus finished first in the 10,000 meters to lead the Knights at the Cardinal Classic, Saturday, hosted by St. John Fisher.

Panus bested the field with a time of 33:26.60, followed by sophomore Nick Termine in second (33:53.90). 

First-year Austin Cutler placed fifth in the 110 hurdles (16.12), while Dylan Switzer was fifth in the 400 hurdles (57.48). 

In the field events, first-year Chris Walter leapt to third place with the sixth-best jump in program history (22-1, 6.73m). 

Geneseo is set to compete at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships this Friday-Saturday, May 6-7, hosted by Oneonta.
