Two Knights Honored With Weekly SUNYAC Swimming & Diving Recognition

GENESEO, N.Y. - Two members of the SUNY Geneseo swimming & diving program were recognized by the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) with weekly honors.

Samuel Randall (Junior) SUNYAC Male Diver of the Week
Randall swept both diving events to help lead the Knights to first place at the Ithaca Bombers Invitational. He won the 3-meter event with a 551.70 score while his 1-meter score of 532.70 was also tops in a field of Division I, II and III competition.

Nancy Shemet (Sophomore) SUNYAC Female Swimmer of the Week
Shemet won an individual event and added legs to three top-three relays to help lead the Knights to first place at the Ithaca Bombers Invitational. Shemet won the 400 IM (4:42.79) and also finished runner-up in the 200 butterfly (2:13.11) while also swimming on the third-place 200 medley (1:49.23), the third-place 400 medley (4:00.99) and the runner-up 400 free relay (3:33.11) in a field that included Division I, II and III competitors.
