Three Knights Honored By SUNYAC With Swimming & Diving Honors

GENESEO, N.Y. – Three members of the SUNY Geneseo swimming & diving program were honored by the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) with weekly honors, Tuesday. 

MEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK – KEVIN SCHAUB (SENIOR)
Schaub won three individual events and added a leg to a record-setting relay to lead Geneseo to a 163-113 victory over visiting Cortland on Saturday. Schuab won the 200 backstroke (1:55.18) with the 16th-fastest time in the country this season while also taking first in the 200 freestyle (1:49.89) and the 100 butterfly (52.70). Schaub also swam on the winning 200 medley relay team that logged the sixth-fastest time in the country this season (1:33.96) while setting a new pool record.  

MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK – SAMUEL RANDALL (JUNIOR)
Randall swept both diving events in the Knights' victory over visiting Cortland. He set program and pool records in winning on 3-meter (381.20) while also winning 1-meter (338.10). Both scores were NCAA Regional-qualifying scores.  

WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK – SYDNEY NG (SOPHOMORE)
Ng won the 1,000 freestyle (11:04.86) and the 200 backstroke (2:10.69) while adding a leg to the winning 400 free relay (3:41.12) to lead the Knights to a 157-129 victory over visiting Cortland on Saturday. 

The Knights will travel to Ithaca this Sunday (Nov. 20) for a tri-meet hosted by the Bombers along with Hartwick.
