Men's Lacrosse Falls at No. 1 Salisbury, 18-3

SALISBURY, Md. – The SUNY Geneseo men's lacrosse team fell at No. 1 Salisbury, 18-3, Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Salisbury opened a 6-0 lead after the first quarter before the Knights started the second quarter with a goal by sophomore midfielder Cameron Chiodo off a feed from first-year midfielder Jake Steffen at 11:57. 
  • The Sea Gulls tallied five-unanswered goals to close the half with an 11-1 edge and scored the first four goals of the third quarter to build a 15-1 edge with 2:34 on the clock. 
  • Chiodo scored with 1:12 on the clock for the final goal of the third quarter.
  • Salisbury out-scored the Knights, 3-1, in the fourth quarter.
