GENESEO, N.Y. - Three SUNY Geneseo student-athletes were honored with weekly honors from the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC).
Jeff Doser (Junior) Men's Swimming & Diving Swimmer of the Week
Doser won two events and swam a leg on a winning relay to lead the Knights to a tri-meet sweep of host Ithaca (213-81) and Hartwick (207-92) on Sunday. He posted the 17th-fastest time nationally in winning the 200 freestyle (1:42.75) while also taking first in the 100 free (47.30) and anchoring the winning 200 free relay (1:26.40).
Nancy Nasky (Sophomore) Women's Swimming & Diving Swimmer of the Week
Nasky swept the three distance free events to lead the Knights to a tri-meet split at No. 20 Ithaca (L, 162-138) with Hartwick (W, 246-54). She won the 1,000 (10:43.94) with a time that currently ranks 21st nationally, while also besting the field in the 200 (1:58.77) and 500 (5:15.47).
Conlan Keenan (First-Year) Men's Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week
Keenan scored two goals and added an assist to lead the No. 9 Knights to a 6-2 victory over Brockport, Saturday, in the squad's lone game of the week. He scored the only goal of the first period and then tied the game less than six minutes into the second period after the Golden Eagles had tied the score less two minutes earlier. Keenan then tacked on an assist in the third period as the Knights out-scored Brockport, 4-0, to earn the SUNYAC win.
