HARRISBURG, Pa. - SUNY Geneseo senior John Decker scored a game-high 29 points, including 7-of-13 from three-point range, to lead the Knights to an 86-74 victory over New Rochelle in the consolation game of the Penn State-Harrisburg Tip-Off Classic, Sunday.

Senior guard Justin Ringen added 16 points, while first-year guard Tommy Eastman (15 points) and junior guard Kevin Crockett (11 points) also reached double-figures in scoring.

New Rochelle took a 5-0 lead at the 18:02 mark but were held scoreless for the next seven minutes as the Knights (2-1) notched 16-straight points to build a lead it never relinquished.

New Rochelle got as close as three, 25-22, with 2:54 left in the first half, but Geneseo turned a six-point halftime lead, 35-29, into an 18-point edge, 51-33, by the 15:08 mark that proved to be the difference.

Geneseo will return to action on Tuesday with a 7:00 p.m. tip-off at Morrisville.
