Field Hockey Falls At St. John Fisher, 3-1

PITTSFORD, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo sophomore forward Elisa Arcara scored a second-half goal, but it was St. John Fisher earning the 3-1 win, Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • St. John Fisher open scoring 10:16 into the game when Kelly Bergamo scored the lone goal of the first half.
  • Receiving a pass, Emily Markarian carried the ball up the field to score St. John Fisher's second goal just three minutes into the second half.
  • Arcara put the Knights on the scoreboard with 25:00 left in regulation after she tipped a pass from a senior forward Cara Stafford.
  • St. John Fisher closed scoring with a goal less than two minutes later, making the score 3-1.
