GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo women's soccer senior midfielder Jennifer Moran and junior back Taylor Clar, along with junior forward Bryan Wager were named Google Cloud Academic All-District selections, announced on Thursday afternoon.
The 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The Geneseo trio moves on to the national ballot where they will each be considered for Academic All-America status. Only eight Geneseo student-athletes have received Academic All-American distinction, most recently with Isaac Garcia-Cassani '18, Luke Holtzman '19 and Natalie LaCourt '18 earning the honor last spring.

Clar is an accounting major with a 3.86 grade point average. A three-time All-SUNYAC First Team selection, Clar led the Knights' defense to 14 shutouts. Clar also tallied a goal and dished two assists on the season.
Wager majors in biochemistry and carries a 3.73 grade point average. He finished the season with three goals and an assist, including a two-goal performance in the Knights' 2-1 victory over New Paltz (Oct. 6).
